Where Education Meets Imagination
Building bridges from the Bay to Uganda—empowering girls and inspiring teachers
Our Programs
Bayganda
BayGanda reimagines learning in rural Uganda—bringing early childhood education, arts access, and teacher leadership to life.
Sew What Camp
Through the art of sewing, we educate girls of color and gender-expansive youth to confidently embrace who they are and live empowered lives—mind, body, and spirit.

The problem
In Uganda, only a tenth of children between 3 and 5 years old are enrolled in school.
Out of that tenth, only 25% of the girls graduate from middle school.
Only 4% of those girls make it to college
This is due to poverty, which forces them into early marriage and domestic work, as well as cultural norms that devalue girls' education.
“Uganda’s education system is not government-funded, parents must pay high prices for admission and the teachers are not properly trained.”
-Ananias Ssemusu, Principle of Kingdom Junior School
Our solution: The Bayganda Effect
Build a future where our children in Uganda have access to joyful, high-quality education that nurtures their full potential and empowers them to discover, thrive, and lead in their communities.
